1970 VW Doublecab and 1971 Non walkthrough bus.
Double cab no longer has the wood gates, comes with real doublecab gates for this year that need need work. Also includes original rear seat and seat support that is missing from so many of these. Truck bed is completely solid and outer rockers are decent, needs corners and floors. This truck needs a lot of frame work though, middle sections are solid but jack supports/outriggers are rusted away, as well as rust around where the torsion bar supports go through the frame in the rear, and the "Y" shaped supports by the front beam. The 1971 bus was intended as the donor for this bus. The truck has a clean registration but was pulled over at some point and failed inspection, so it would need a full inspection to get back on the road. There are no papers with the 71 bus. The bus itself is very clean, has some minor floor rust in cargo area as well as front floor, but only one serious hole. Frame is flawless on this bus, as are outriggers/jack points. Corners are good, rockers are starting to go but are very serviceable. Only real downside is the dent in the front right, I've pushed it out a bit since the pics but it still needs work. Both of these vehicles have running engines, the truck has a 1600dp and the bus a 1600sp. No brakes except E-Brake on either. Canopy on truck comes with truck if wanted. Price is for both but if anybody were interested in one and not the other please contact me. Selling because I've got far too many projects stacked up here.
