with my blasting business we try to do unique stuff, I try my best to stay away from boring jobs like structural steel and logging truck trailers. I blast memorial markers for a company here locally and asked the lady to make me up a VW stencil to put on a peice of scrap stone. here is the outcome. kind of a unique peice i guess. the blast mat is some cool stuff.

i blast with garnet on stones. aluminum oxide works well too but hard on blasting tips.

Bwaz, we allready do headstones. new and old. i dont take any artistic credit for the new ones other than blasting. Old ones, we clean to make them like new. for the old stuff we do work for mostly the War graves commision, Veterans affairs and the Royal Canadian Legion as well as the public. we make unreadable stones like new again.
its pretty cool to know that these will stay readable and not forgotten for years to come.
