Some of you may have seen this in the sightings when I took the picture in my parents driveway.I bought this car to ship my brother in Toronto. His plans for work have changed and is not going to have room for the car. So up for sale it goes. I thought I would post it here before listing it abroad. I will apologize for the pictures first off. I will take better pictures when I get a chance. Anyways onto the car.
This is a rust free 65 Bahama Blue beetle originally from California that lived in Washington state the last bunch of 10-15 years inside. It's built to look like a very traditional Cal Look car. The interior is super tidy done in an old school theme. Headliner is nice and white and in great shape. Paint is 15+ years old and rust free. It does have a few dings and scratches from over the years. The best way to describe this car is that this car is a transitional car, to nice to restore but not perfect. The kind of car you can actually get out and enjoy. That was the reason we picked it up. My brother wanted something that he could take his kids to soccer and baseball in and not worry about it, but still have a great looking beetle. It needs nothing!
Some of the particulars on the car are:
-3300 miles on fully rebuilt 1200cc
-powder coated engine tin, detailed engine
-lowered front end with lowered sway bar
-new tie rods
-NOS Euro headlights
-painted and detailed inner fenders
-Euro taillights
-real, straight german VW bumpers
-pop out windows
-nice shiny german body chrome
-converted to 12 volt
-REAL Empi GT steering wheel
-Original Empi glove box pull
-Original Empi wood dash inserts
-REAL Empi bumper bars
-locking shifter
-original paint dash with OG radio
-Flat 4 grey BRM's (not Chinese made crap)
I could go on but it's best if you are serious to call and I can discuss the car with you because I do not check the forum that often. It is currently in my parents garage and have my own projects or else I would have enjoyed it this summer myself. My cell number is 604 377-7849.
pendingNew pics taken today
Sorry plate frames do not go with the car, but I do have a 1965 VW plate frame that will.
