Just got this message from another ASF member:

Just saw a barn door bus on a trailer heading west on hwy 1 in abby. It didn't have any front doors on it but looked complete. Super dirty from the roads so might have been coming down from the interior?

Alright, cough up the story.  Who found this Bus?  Where? Pictures?

hopefully someone closer to story will chime in, but from what i gather by following thesamba.com & instagram threads...a guy from alberta found it (jaymonkey in the thread below), decided he wanted to sell it, sold it to patrick hall (from oregon), patrick picked it up in alberta and took it straight to the island to triple j's (jarrod, josh & johnny) where it'll get a little love!! sounds like it'll eventually end up with patrick in oregon and will be a driver/road tripper!!

another cool canadian bd bus, a great bus for sure!! cant wait to see it rolling!!

Saw a VW Type 183 on Friday going from Coquitlam to New West.
Who knows what a Type 183 is?

beautiful looking PG/SG Kombi going down 57th ave into the Kerrisdale area.  It had ribbed bumpers and looked to be a 58 possibly.  I haven't seen another VW bus in my neck of the woods ever.

Split window Beetle on a tow truck in Langley this morning.  Reports suggest a fresh barn find.  Anyone on here?

2 buses visiting Fort Langley on July 6th early evening.  Both looked great.
Learning from my mistakes I'm clearly going to be a genius one day!

spotted earlier this evening headed west on 41st then north on cambie...a cute older couple (probably in their mid to late 60's) cruising in a 1975-ish red bay window with a westminster vw plate frame on it! it left a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart, knowing this couple was out enjoying their vw, just as i hope to be when i am their age!
