Licensing a dune buggy
« on: February 06, 2018, 05:47:30 PM »
Anybody know the rules for licensing a dune buggy here in BC? Looking at building a Meyers Manx. Would it be easier to find an existing buggy that is registered in BC then swap the body?

Cheers

I have two fiberglass buggies on the road. One since 2007 and the other I registered in 2013.
Both are registered as VW Beetle:   Body style -  dune buggy.

First one I registered the chassis before the body was on. Second one i bought as a project and had to go through ICBC search for the last registered owner. Got the paperwork and had it in my name as a VW Beetle:   body style - dune buggy.  Never had to get an inspection and never had any problems.
