Title: frame horn tap
Post by: buggy1 on October 28, 2010, 08:16:45 AM
I need to rent borrow or steal a tap for the rear frame horns so I can mount my transaxle. Any idea on size and pitch? otherwise I'll have to shim out the one side about 10 mm and I really don't want to do that. Anyone out in the valley with that tap or know where to find one?
Thanks Andy
P.S. Bruce the reduction box trannny fit right in the '58 without changing the nosecone, Thanks

M18 x 1.5
It is the same as an oxygen sensor.  Every auto repair shop will have this tap.

Hey, I need one of these taps. Anyone have one I can borrow? I'm in Abbotsford but I'm willing to make a drive into Vancouver if need be.
Thx, Jason
