Title: Alternator Conversion

hey i have a 73 beetle thats set-up for an alternator.
it has a 3 prong plug  and a red and black wire what do i need to change
to install a new 75 amp alternator with only 2 posts?

also the diagnostics port in my engine compartment ,
i have a chrome firewall and don't know what to do with the huge square connector??

any help will be greatly appreciated

As for the Computer block... just cut it out and tape up the wires. I removed the one in my 74 Beetle 15 years ago.
