Won't idle.
No acceleration
One barrel does not seem to work.
I can choke every cylinder and motor craps out,Except for #2 no effect.
Compression is over 110 in cylinder #2
this motor sat for a very long time.
Maybe crap old fuel?
Has old 009 distributor
Plan on changing out plugs wires etc
But would like to find someone to got thru the carbs.

plugged idle jet...very common issue due to the location of the jet. just remove jet and holder and blow clear with compressed air or carb cleaner.

Yes, sounds like an idle jet issues. I am dealing with a similar problem and isolated it by swapping jets from side to side before spending a lot of time with carb cleaner and a copper wire to clear it out.

yeah ,I've done them. I used small fishing weights and made a driver to seat them. a better method involves tapping and plugging. be carful that you have diagnosed it properly,i have gone in to repair only to find the plugs are in place and sealing. floats and their adjustment, needle and seats and high fuel pressure are a more likely cause.
