'68 Beetle Passenger Side Mirror Install
« on: January 08, 2012, 08:00:14 PM »
Installing a passenger side mirror on a '68 Beetle. Got the hole drilled in the door, and was hoping that there might be a threaded nut welded in place at the factory, as for RHD countries. No such luck!

Anyone have an idea of what size nut this would take? Don't have anything close to being correct in my stash, so will make some calls tomorrow. Saw one internet site that said M16, but they weren't sure.

Thanks!
Neil

M18x1.5
Same as the steering column nut.  Same as an oxygen sensor.
