I'll untrap the buggy a few days before we go, Put the paddles on and she will fire right up after sitting outside all winter
Nothing new for us. The buggy's not even gonna get a shoe polish this year. I dont have time :(

If you parked the Jetta long enough to work on it all will be ok?

In the winter when the sand is wet is it still as much fun? I was going to head down to sand lake, but thought that in winter it would not be as much fun.

Sounds like fun. I will have to head out to Sand Lake one weekend. It's about 1.5hrs away. Florence is about 2.5hrs for me. I live here and have never been out there, gotta fix that.  :D

I might have to take you up on that. I am going to take my FJ down Sand Lake and see how it does in a few weeks. Not as much fun as a rail, but still a good time.

Almost got my trailer hitch done! Need a new exhaust header and some bits and pieces to look at on the rail   I can't wait!!!!!! UPM I might need two tubes bent in a u shape. Are you able to bend them for me? I want to take my 1/2 acre skid plate off and just put two tubes below the oil pan. Rail is now home started right up! :P   HOw many days to go ?Chris W we've been there when snows on the ground, wind/rain storms Just need a big tarp for night time. Remember a day on the dunes in  the rain or what have you is better than anyday at work!!!!!

I hit a few of the quad trails in the NW section almost go stuck on one, most were to tight for the truck. I will see you guys down there for sure, Florence is has 3 diffrent dunes right? Where are you guys camping?

Florence has one dune with 3 different entrances,
We will be in the Honeyman state park  "H" loop Very last loop.
Chris now imagine you taking your Toyota off the top of a dune at 55 MPH.... :P  Now that is a thrill...

Those are just baby hills @ Sandlake! Like Shane said "H loop Honeyman state campground" H loop has it's own Dune access! Go over the bridge past the first dune access road, past an auto wrecker on your left and I think a texico gas station . State campground I believe has a short left hand turn lane to enter from HWY.
3 weeks and counting!

Look Forward to meeting you
