Not sure...Can a 1974 Bus Engine fit into a 1974 Beetle?

Might seem like a stupid question to those in the know...but I don't know
I know that the Fan Housing is different /lower/wider and the oil cooler is different - but I am not sure if a Bus engine can fit into a Beetle engine bay...

With an upright fan conversion yes it will fit, but it's not cost effective for the power increase.

Without doing the fan conversion, you would have to remove the rear apron to fit the Bus engine.
