Art Tharen is the guy for the fix but Bruce may chime in here with some ideas.

If no one locally can do it here, I second Art Thraen. I sent my carbs to him a couple of years ago and the car has never ran better.

Last time I talked to Art he tried to tell me not to waste my time and to buy a set of IDA's he had already rebuilt. I bought the book, grabbed my camera and ventured forward and fixed mine all up.

Here is a link to the photos I took as I dismantled mine.

Was easier than I thought, mine are 48's not sure whats different between them but it may help.

The dellorto drip is caused from one of the inner passage lead plugs coming loose and it then dripping fuel into the venturi.  It is hidden in behind another plug.  You have to drill out the leaking plug and put in a new one.  Problem is finding the correct lead plug to fit, these are not included in any rebuilt kit.  I only remember reading this a very long time ago and maybe I am wrong but this is sort of what I remember,  but maybe Bruce will also chime in.

I've never looked into this problem before.  So far I have found a cut-a-way pic of a DRLA that may show the culprit.  I'm not sure this is what the problem is in your carb.
Was unable to load the pic just now.  Will try later.
