53 Split/oval

I have a ashtray and hood handle that seem to be different from the rest of my oval parts.
The ashtray is wider and has a silver handle(rather than chrome)
And the front hood handle is i guess you would say has more curvature???
It looks different.
Is there a sure way to tell if they are 53?

The 53 handle would be made of aluminum, and the lower part of the handle has a wider looking base. Also if I recall correctly  the part # is in the base where the threads are instead of in the reccess at the back of the handle like the later ones.

Thanks, The handle is raw aluminum and the ashtray is narrower than a std oval with no ashtray pull.
