hi there, i have this killer dent (the size of a fist) below my windshield, where the steel is double thick. if anyone could give me some pointers i would be very grateful.

I'd need to see it to give you proper directions but, is there access from the back side? enough to swing a hammer? If not there is always a stud gun, about $500 bucks new though. or you could weld a pull tab on and use a slide hammer. just a couple ideas.

there isnt that much room to swing a hammer, but im thinking of drilling a hole in the middle of the dent and then putting a screw in and pulling, what do u think?

:o Ummm...No. :huh:  Step away from the van and put the screw gun down. It's a new era, dent pulling has reached new levels since 1975!! can you try to reach it with a bar/dolly from the inside and gently tap around the dent from the outside? maybe a 2 person job, 1 in and 1 out.

okay sounds good, i tried a ding king lol, results were...........unsatisfatory
