Does anyone know where por 15 is avaliable. I dont want to powdercoat my pan so has anyone ever tried endura on a pan I hear it 50% paint 50% hardener so it sounds fairly durable.

Botht the resto shops in town are using that Emron or Endura paint. Apparently when used with the primer it is AWESOME..also affordable....can be tinted to any colour too. Have heard many mixed reviews on POR 15

By Emron, do you perhaps mean Imron by Dupont?  I painted my 69 Bug with Imron in the mid 80s, and the stuff then wasn't that spectacular.  The only real advantage is you don't need to wax it.  It stays shiny.

i was lookin for endura at the langley lordco; nobody there including custamers knew what it was or where to find it. any body have any other ideas?

i just had my beam done in something called clova 3000(the guy could have been pulling my leg about the name)
he paints trailers and it has to be durable,it turned out real nice and seems very durable.
if i remember i will try and ask the name of it from him (mind you it may have come from cloverdale paint then the name would make sense:)

ok it's called
epoxy 300 colva coat and it is sold by cloverdale paint(give them a call they should be able to point you ion the right direction)

You can get endura at a place called Pacific Endura,  just of scott road on I think about 86 ave in surrey. Sorry don't have a number handy. It's good stuff.

The por 15 is good stuff. I painted a pan a 1 1/2 yrs ago and stuck it out side. It has had about 3\" of water sitting in it and it still as strong and looks as good as the day i painted it.

Most of the problems people have with POR 15, is that they don't read the directions and follow them to the letter. POR 15 needs the surface that your applying it to prepared just right to preform upto manufactures claims.

so after using the russ recomended  clova 300, i'd say its a damn good product for any weather exposed areas, backing plates ect...
it actually feels like my parts are a 1/8 thicker than before i painted them, and they seem like they will stand up to a lot of punishment. and punish them i will, as they are going on a buggy...

I have a bunch of stuff coated with POR on my car - entire front end,brakes,drums, rear suspension etc...

It has stood up well from driving conditions but it doesn't like brake fluid!
