Body Mods Needed For Big Ol Engine
« on: May 26, 2006, 12:51:46 PM »
Hey guys,
Since I'm doing this all at once.....
Curious as to any cutting or trimming needed to cram in a 2 liter type 1 into a 62 beetle body/ chassis.
If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

your going to have to gut the entire rear section, then use baja fenders and a scoop kits especially for a  2liter.

I am realy green at this.

I was mistaken  and  since we got a  stroker with \"b\" pistons and same size cylinders plus heads (standard), why do i need to cut anything? outside size remains the same. Does it not?

And now what about the trany?

I only had to move the firewall 4.5\" man. Really a small job compared to the rest.

Definetly set my mind on doing the mulholland look with a pink metal flake.
I know I will be the envy of all the big boys.
