Type 2 brake/wheel cylinder issues
« on: March 19, 2014, 11:43:37 PM »
Hey all, kinda new at this but I'm tired of digging about the the options I have on on brakes and wheels. So this is what I want for my type 2 64 pickup. I want discs on the front and drums in the back all with the bolt pattern of the wide 5. Is this possible without going to aftermarket? The front has been converted to ball joint and the back is irs. Any ideas?

You can't go wide five and discs without going aftermarket. The closest you will get is using stock rotors and wheel adapters.

I'm looking into the same question (see post below).

You're looking at about $1250 total including master cylinder to put front discs on your type 2.
