you and your finger pointing, making out like all we do is ACVW! We all have other interests, Geoff likes VW as well as german guys, James is bi-flexible (i think that means he likes sheep), Shane (PB) has more fords that ford themselves, Hoosier is into reciprocating saws, Danny likes cheeze whiz, Jim is a closet porn fanatic, I am a computer geek, and then we come to you, your just confused.

You know what? Who really cares about who showed up to what.  This is a small comunity and were all in it for the same thing VW's!!! It seems like people get their feelings hurt if one group or another dont make a showing at "their" event.

Hell I'd love it if more people made it out to the cruises or or AirSpeed swap but if they dont will I loose sleep? No, People have lives outside the "Comunity" so dont bring them down if they have other obligations or things they would rather do.

For a first time event I think The DGLVK did a great job, I think only two (DVKK)of our cars made it because all were still broken from the year before or not drivable for some reason.

Yeah they were upset more couldn't make it but everyone there had a great time and thats all that matters!

I'll say this for Kirin but only once :D  I like his 2002 and I hope to get a ride in it one day. Nice clean car and it looks like it will be  great pleasure to drive. BUT>>>>> I hope all the people giving you a hard time (all in fun) dont scare you away from the VW scene.

For the record I did flash my headlights for 1/2 a block before pulling off, probably only Chris would see it because he was infront of me.
This has waisted enough time that could have been better spent shopping or helping a friend with a car. Preschool is now out, Go play and have fun :D

Geoff I think you summed up what I couldn't say in as few words lol. You'll get that ride  B)
And no PB and 76bus and Silas(Well it had to be said) won't scare me away. I realize I set myself up for burnage with a runway so big even a fully loaded transport plane running on one engine and 2 cylinders could take off.
Cheers mates!

You can flash those 6v lights? I kept looking back to see if you were there, I could barely see your headlights!

Yerah the wonders of 6v! I think they are 1 candle power each. The good news is I got the starting problem fixed, well I made Dan fix it but none the less it starts now :)

As well they should have, it was a carbon copy of an event that happened in the same park for three years prior.

Actually if facts serve me correct there was no show the year before ours.... Cuz I showed up at the park and there was no one there except Hoosier huddling in a corner drinking something out of a paper bag...

and Matt tell us how you really feel??? ;)

Let me try to clairify my statements.   First thing is that at the sports center we all stood in a group and at no point did any one speak up and say i can't make the whole run so don't worry about me. So when you guys split we went back looking for you.   First i heard the phoney gas story then i heard you went for a pub.  Why didn't you stop and say we were dropping out? It appeared to us you and 76 BUS dropped our cruise for a pub.  It all sounded BS.  Next my comment about Geoff was aimed at Geoff not  Air Speed.  When Geoff bailed and no one knew why it seemed like you let us down,  (loyal customers)  I know i'm not in the store every day but i send a lot of people there! I have been on lots of other cruises and other than VW and we know when some one is going to leave mid cruise.  I'm not trying to put a damper on things But things were definatley not made known before the cruise.  We all sat down at Starbucks and discussed the event. so it's not just me! Curtesy was lost somewhere along the way.

ok, sorry to you all about the gas thing, it was meant as a joke, obviously it came out wrong. I just wanted to let you all know I did not recieve any violation tickets as a result of this cruise.

But when the Notch and the bus bailed nobody really knew why and we went back looking for you guys.

Well no matter what, the comments are directed at me for some reason. If the Kafer Krat people want to hate me because I left the cruse WITH 3 other people so be it. Yes WE did not make it clear that WE may not stay for the entire cruise but it was not planned for all of us to drop out.

I told ACA when she asked if I needed a map and I sad "I'm just going to follow for a bit" Well I'm sorry I did not make that clear to everyone.

"Marcel"-from Kafer Kraft-(On Weds our view was he bailed on us and the rest went with him.)

As for Chris, GF and Shane leaving  with me, THEY asked if there was a pub to get food at. I was going home for dinner anyway so YES we left I showed them where to go,had food went shopping.

I sure hope this is the end of the "Kafergate fiasco"
Once again Sorry to leave during the cruise and trust me you wont see me BAIL on your cruise again I'm done!

Now lets all go spend some time with our loved ones and forget about this.
