Title: Altetnatives to Hagerty?
Post by: jason_hamilton on January 17, 2018, 04:24:12 PM
My ICBC policy expires in a couple of months and i've got enough money in the car where I have to consider it smart to get agreed-value insurance. None of my money's been spent on paint and body so it I qualify for Collector status.
Today Hagerty tells me their policy won't allow me to go over 6000 km per year or drive it to work. I have second car and a motorcycle, but the Ghia is my first choice for getting around in the nice months.
Does anyone have any experience with a company that can offer me agreed-value but let me enjoy the car?

Late to the party, but I can help you with the Hagerty issue.

Email me your quote number and I can make an inquiry on your behalf for the mileage. The computer quote system has to be setup with rules and guidelines, but Hagerty has been flexible on policy on a case-by-case basis. I've been able to help out a number of BC based motorists when the computer system said "nope!"

HTH,
