Title: starting and firing problems

i have a baja that i am working on. i have rebuilt the motor and trying to get it running. have new carb fuel pump and 009 distri and wiring just bought new plugs and points funny was a new distributer. turns over and has no sprak thinking all this is new timing is right. looking for anwsers on anthting i have over looked. timing is good and power is good and looking on finding anything else that may cause this to not fire.

the basics are fuel,compression,spark, you should then get ignition,check to see your valves are set right,is the point gap correct, and do they open. are you running a pertronics setup, if so you may have put the hot wire on the wrong  side and fried the unit.it only needs to be on for a moment and its toast.  :'( hope this has been some help.
