Porsche 944 Conversion
« on: December 10, 2003, 09:28:58 PM »
OK, I know.  I was supposed to get pre 85.5 944 brakes.  Well Now that I  bought the 86-89 944 type, can I still make them work.  I tried to put them into place but the spring plate hole don't match, the urethane bushings I bought for the bug trailing arms don't fit in the 944 trailing arms and the hex bolt where the arm piviots doesn't fit in the 944 hole AND I'm not too sure the angle is right.  Good God what do I do..
I went to www.germanlook.com but they only have front brake stuff.  I found a few sites-- www.ghiaperformance.com, but again they are for early trailing arm fitament.  The part # on the trailing arm doesn't even match germanloo.com's porsche part # chart.  Trailing arms are part # 951 331 514 00 -hub #944 331 067 00 -disc #944 352 041 02 caliper (I can't find it).  THe have the ABS wire so I'm thinking newer, but the trailing arms are confusing me.
