Hey all...I have a 1776 with a pertronix ig and coil and a new dizzy.  When I line the degreed pulley up to zero, and the piston #1 is at tdc my rotor does not point to the number one firing position but a few degrees before it...what gives..???
naming a car is gay...really gay.

I'm not sure how you can visually tell if its out only a few degrees.  With the cap off, the blunt nose of the rotor probably covers 15 degrees.  Was your distributor drive correct before the distributor swap?
