Motor Break In

thanks to  jim and geoff  and many other local others for all there help with all my questions.i've been out of it for too long ,but its all coming back, slowly.
primed the motor to 60 psi, it was a bit stubborn cranking ,but fired up and set the idle for 2000 rpm and ran it for 20 min-man sounded great-cracked the throttle once and almost flipped the test stand!!,
oil pressure was steady at 40 psi -cant wait till tomorrow too run it again-
no oil leaks so far and that a-1 header /pipe sounds great-and no crummy valve clack clack noise.
now its beer time-
hope i can get it moving by the car show, anyway its coming too life ,slowly but surely.
p.s i cant wait for the maiden voyage ,it's been too long since this car was mobile ,i hope it likes what i've done for it this time-4th time lucky

Yeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwww!!!! Good to hear its alive. A few other High Po VW motors were born this weekend. Brad P just got his 2165cc  web 86c 48 IDA motor running as well as Mirko with some new IDA's.
Good to see all the VW's getting ready for the weekend of 15-17.
