Difference In 71/72 Rear Brum Brakes
« on: July 22, 2006, 11:39:49 AM »
I'm switching out my rear 1968 bay bus drum brakes to the later 5x112 bolt pattern units...I bought used assemblies off a later bus (year unknown), I got everything from stub axle to axle nut..  but will be replacing shoes,w/cyls etc before installing....whats the difference between early and late (i.e. shoes, w/cyl) or should I just buy replacement parts for 72 up and call it a day?...I heard the early stub axles are shorter?
