im new to beetles i just bought a 1972 for 1100$ for a car to learn on and fix up. the cars signals worked when i bought it. now neither of them work, when i put one on the green signal indicator on the dash stays light up green. does that mean that a ight is out? and neither the left or the right signals work. sorry about all the questions, i do appreciate all the helpo you guys ahve done for me so far. thanks for any information you guys can think of.

start by checking your fuses and confirm that there is power at them, check your bulb filaments (to see if they're burned out) and check your grounds.

Like silas said, check your grounds, if you're local the wet weather lateley has probably gotten all your bulb sockets wet, causing corrosion, causing darkness. Find a bulb you know works and try it in the dark holes and see if they are burnt out or just need a cleaning.
