Usually brake squeal is due to the pads vibrating and only happens under light braking. One of the cures is to glue the pads to the pistons
If you hear a loud "wooshing" sound, that is the holes in the rotors.

thanks bruce but the pads are glued still make noise

how old/new are the pads & turned rotors? do you notice any odd wear marks/hot spots on the pads or rotors? can you physically move the pad while it's seated in the caliper? were there any small metal shims that go between the caliper to pad mounting area?
you could try and chamfer the edges of the pads and see if that makes a difference. wear eye & breathing protection and go to your bench grinder and grind 45 degree angles on each edge of the pad (where the pad meets the rotor).

Chamfers! I forgot about those.
I put new pads in the rear of my car once and they squealed badly. So I took them out and ground about a 5mm chamfer on the leading edge only. Completely eliminated all the noise ever since. The trick I heard was to only chamfer the leading edge.

mmmmmm put a little edge there maybe need to go a little bigger will give that a try
thanks

yup, definately do the leading edge. every time i've done it i do it to the leading, trailing & inner edges....the inner helps eliminate noise from a rotor with a big inner ridge, and i've done the trailing mostly just to cover my ass so i know that it would not be a factor and require taking the pads out again. ;)
