    Good Day ,


  I've come across an original  convertible deck lid with the rain tray, 1960 model year , that the current owner says is in good shape. From what I know , these deck lids are hard to find . My question for you is, what are these worth ? I have no idea. The current curator of this piece said make an offer.  Of course I offered to take it off their hands and store the lid for them at no cost.  Apparently, that offer was too low.

Any input on the pricing of these old Vert lids would be greatly appreciated.

Look on the Samba for an average rough idea of current values.

last nice one I saw was $450 US.Thats why I am just going to make one for my car.It's not a show car so I am fine with it.
