Rebuilding Type 3 Rear Brakes.
« on: November 25, 2008, 06:30:42 PM »
Just looking for the best source for rebuilding some Type 3 brakes. Wheel cylinders look good, but if there is a good quality replacement I would rather replace them. Spring kits and cylinders look to be the same for 71-79 Type 1?

I assume you are putting a set of T3 rears on the back of a T1?
I just use Super beetle front wheel cyls.

Yes they are going on a Type 1. I saw those CIP ones and was wondering if there is any better alternative quality wise. Having no experience with them I just want to make sure and get the best option.
