So I'm set up to spank a certain Green Ghia that night (just waiting for the excuses to start   ).
Are they going to allow staging for such matches that night or will the field be to busy being that it is a street legal night?

I'll go up against you Geoff, should be fair my 1915 against your 2276 hmmm ya sounds like a close race.....not. Brian's been trash talking his ghia and Kev and I want to compare are relativly close displacements. I've got a few hundred pounds advantage over both so I'm pretty sure I'll do well.

For geoff to be able to give his prediction he will have to know some info like weight, engine specs, tranny me being a better driver etc....
You want to post and we'll let everyone give there 2 cents and make it a little more interesting? Stroker vs non stroker? If you need a place to weigh your car either go to the scale on the #1 near 104th at night or I can take you out to the transfer station in aldergrove when a friend of mine is working (if your car can make it) are you still trailering it everywhere?  :P  :P

Well with your granny shifting and because you have a \"pretty\" car that you would hate to hurt I think you'll have a shitty 60ft time and I'll blow you away.

Granny shifting?? This is what I built the car for. You better get some seat time in before the big night buddy. My 60 foot time may be slower but there is plenty of track left. Dont forget I have a few other luxuries to weigh me down, like an interior.  :P see ya.

Yes Brian, thats right i was in the cucumber field all day looking for a gift for your wife! DOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Anyway, Both your combo's have good points,James has a lighter car and smaller motor with stock trans, Brian, More power heavy car , Brians close 3rd may make the difference if his 4th is not too long.
My guess is you will both run a 15.? your first pass and then down in the 14's after that.
Who will be faster?????? only time will tell and if you slip me a few bucks i'll pick you or him or whoever has the most cash;-)

Hey Matt, You do enjoy stirring the pot dont you? Anyway, my car is up and running just a few bugs to work out(no pun intended). I think ill just sit back and wait for James to put his motor in. Hopefully he'll realize that the motor goes in from the bottom. Later Brian

From the bottom huh, wow with that kind of insightful tip I had better watch out for your overweight sled hey.
The engine will be in this week, and the rest of the car will be ready by the end of the month. What will you charge me to recover my front seats? Make it cheap and I will save you some embaressment on the track...

Hey James, come by the house sometime and we can go through my books and see what we can come up with. I might even have some leftover material from another job that we could use. Don't worry I'm fairly reasonable as to prices as long as your not too much of a rush. I might even show you my motor!!! Later Brian.

Its a good idea to talk to your better looking half first. Trust me, if I had done that my car would have been done a long time ago. Oh well, I cant complain I still got to keep my car and my dog.
