Any experience with electronic ignition?
« on: May 07, 2014, 01:00:12 PM »
So I need to get a Distributor for a 36hp with an Okrasa WW kit installed. Looks like the Bosch 010 or 019 are the top choices, but what about changing the points out for an electronic ignition kit like the one from Pertronix? I don't have any experience with distributors so any info is welcome.

Once you choose your dizzy, just order the correct pertronix module they are easy to install, be sure to get the correct matching coil ( correct resistance ) and also be very careful when you connect the wires to the coil because if you connect it backwards you will fry the module instantly.
