Well we got folks from Prince George (PGVWC.ca) joining up with those of us from the Okanagan (OKVW.ca) that're totallylooking forward to coming down.

Who would we talk to for those that want to enter cars...and what kind of categories are there?....Just by car type/generation?

It sure is, I posted the info in another thread...I'll add it to this as well.

Ask for Tim the manager and say it's for the Great Canadian VW Show rate.

Fred, cant ya just stay at a cheap place in New West?? Very central. Or, we have room for you if you want  to stay at our place. I could use the help for a little something I have going on. ;)  Look forward to seeing you as I want a rematch on Friday night.

Thanks for the offer.  I called and made the reservation last night, and they honored the same rate as last year.  Can't really beat the price for the 2 bedroom apartment.  They didn't have anything "official" for the GCVWS, but gave a corporate rate, then dropped it again for me as a "preferred" customer.

Rematch is on brother.

Now that the GCVWS is only a few days away, it looks like the weather may not turn out so well.

The Sat breakfast at Westminster is on rain or shine and they have been kind enough to open the dealership showroom for all of us to eat and gather in "if" it rains.

If your coming to the BBQ or Sunday GCVWS and have a E Z up tent...Please bring it! A little more shelter for all those who brave the weather would be a great help.

Keep your fingers crossed for sun or just no rain.

I was unfortunately unable to leave this morning at 8am with the rest of the cruise from Calgary, but I will be leaving early (we are talking really early, not-even-light-out early) tomorrow morning and driving straight thru. Couldn't drive my beetle, but at least I'll still be in a 'dub.

I'm stoked. And I don't care about the weather. :-) I'm just excited to see the people I haven't seen since last year's GCVWS!

Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.
