Plumbing turning brakes?
« on: May 04, 2010, 05:30:32 PM »
Hey guys, im going to add turning brakes to my buggy and am curious how it goes together. I only have rear drums and the wheel cylinders only accept one brake line, which is routed to the brake pedal. the turning brakes use two small master cylinders and hydraulic lines. do i T off of the wheel cylinder, or?

Should be one line from the pedal into the steering brake and then two out, one to each brake. What steering brake are you using?

its one i bought off of here like 3 years ago and never hooked up, it was used when i got it. i never even took a look at it to see if it has an in fitting, that makes sense and now i feel dumb lol.

its a single handle, i would rather a dual but it was all that was available when i was looking last time.

thanks man! much appreciated!
