well we have been looking for months and finally found what we were looking for. With some hard work ahead of us we expect to hit the dunes in March. The boys have some interest as they can now drive with Kevin and Colin and their buggies.

Thought you were going to build the vert baja style? Either way another buggy is awesome. Ive got my rail home right now putting in steel clutch and throttle tubes.

It's coming along great ! I heard its getting colour soon. How Long are those trailing arms.
I took your advice and put in steel tubes for clutch and throttle cables. Did you reserve for spring break?
Gary
-
colour is going to be a while yet, the arms are 3x3. The yurts that Hans and I usually get were taken so we had to take the pet friendly one. You should be much happier with the cable housing not moving around. Better pedal feel. Did you get the full throttle angles sorted?
We are very busy at home so I'm hoping my boys start getting there back side in gear so we can bring it down with us.
What size motor and what size carbs are you running?

Looks awesome guys !!! Can't wait to see it out on the dunes!!

Looks great ! 65 days to go!!!!!

Hey Jake
Make sure you put a piece of aluminum on the roof. Roll bars are great but in the sand if you flip over roll bars go through the sand like hot knife in butter. One of our buggy family flipped his and the buggy went right down to the head rests. You need some surface area to keep bars from going down.
Could you email hans and I a pict of your cage where it goes down inside your buggy to the floor at the front?
Thanks
Gary

almost there. I think we have the transmission sorted, drove it around the block the other day.
Engine cage, bumper, alignment, roll bar cover and any gremlins that need attention and were ready for the Dunes I think?
