so just out of curiosity would the windshield from a standard '73 be the same size as a '69?

I looked into it yesterday and it most definatly will fit. 65-70 something.
Anyways sounds like its going to be a fun one getting it out since the owner of this car removed his last one in his super with a Mallet. it was an original vw one also..

Its not a hard job to do at all. Ive done a few, just take your time and spray a little silicone into the rubber channel.
