Well it's getting close! Here's some info to plan your weekend.

AVR Import Specialties is having an Open House Friday August 14th noon to 4pm.

Stop by for a BBQ, in store specials as well as a few last minute parts prior to racing.

We are located minutes from the Mission Park Raceway so stop by on your way to the 10thAnnual DVKK "Strip Show" presented by AVR Import Specialties.

Then it's off to Mission raceway for the AVR sponsord "DVKK Strip Show"
(awards for the night drags will be given out at the Sunday event)
We will have a VW only lane, Stock motor Challenge, show n shin and more.

10th Annual DVKK Breakfast

Join us Saturday, August 15th at Westminster VW for a full day of VW action. Enjoy breakfast, a Show & Shine,awards and finish off the day with a cruise. Destination tbd.

Join us Sat Night 5pm on at the new Boston Pizza on Grandview,2850 Bentall Street
Vancouver, BC V5M 4H4. Located in the large parking lot of the New Canadian Tire. This is an show n shine for all VW's. We want to fill the lot! There will be special food deals, Prizes and awards including the DVKK choice awards! This looks to be a huge event!! Come out and join us for a fun night as Air and Water unite!

Beetleball organizers have been emailed as well. I think it's a fair bet that the Vancouver to Mexico event will be right near these dates.

Friday, August 14th: AVR Import Specialties 9th ANNUAL "DVKK STRIP SHOW"

Start the weekend off right with a BBQ and open House at AVR Import Specialties. #6-342205 South Fraser way Abbotsford, BC. 604-852-9024 Cruise to Mission Raceway @ 4pm.

Drag Racing at Mission Raceways on Friday, August 14th! Gates open at 5:00pm and racing runs until dark. Open to all VW's (Air & H2O) and any other street cars that pass tech. Stock VW motor challenge class will be back once again this year (sponsored by Zundefoldge VW club)

Saturday, August 15th, : DVKK "BREAKFAST AT Westminster VW"

Coquitlam, BC @10:00am for a full day of VW action. Enjoy a Show & Shine, pancake Breakfast, Awards from the Friday Drag night and Cruise throughout the local area.

We will be coming up again this year for the awesome event. Mike just got back from Europe (EBI3), and we decided today, that we want to come be apart of our Canadian Friends wonderful event. Plus it falls on our anniversary, so it is a nice get away!

AVR Import Specialties wants to extend a big invite to our open house in Abbotsford which is the official start to the GCVWS weekend.
If last year is any indication our parking lot will be crammed from one end to the other with cool VW's. Stop in for some last minute parts, enjoy the BBQ or just sit around and start the weekend off right by being surrounded by VW's.

After enjoying the open house you will only be 10 minutes away from Mission Raceways to experience the 10th Annual DVKK "Strip Show" presented by AVR Import Specialties.

We look forward to seeing you in August.

...so if registration takes place from 8am - 11am i'd say that pretty much explains when it starts. and as far as when it ends is up to the individual attending. could be a 10 minute show or a 10 hour show (but there might not be much to see at 8pm

).

Uh, not really. Just putting a start time would be nice.

If I would have known I'd have to show up at 8AM to get a stinkin' souvenir shirt, I wouldn't have rolled in at 11AM.

The show was alright, but the location not as good as previous years.
