Title: Rust Proofing / Cavity Wax / Waxoyl / Dinitrol / Krown- Info Sought
Post by: paolo on June 24, 2016, 09:45:36 AM
Wondering if anyone has knowledge to share regarding preventative way treatments in a Type 1 Beetle. Searched for this and came up with scraps of info, so forgive me if I missed it. Looking for:

1) Diagram, photos / link or chart showing areas to spray inner box sections, Heater Channels, Door Posts, Rear inner sections above engine compartment

2) What products available locally in Vancouver - Krown, Waxoyl, Dinitrol - and where to buy?

3) Any shops in Vancouver that are familiar with doing a Type 1 Beetle properly?

Thanks for any info. 1968 Beetle

Dinitrol works very well. The thinner version is more clear and the thicker stuff is more longer lasting and dries a light brown. The clear stuff stays wet I believe.
