Here are some shots of the mount bracket. I have since welded nuts behind the holes as the threaded angle iron was not thick enough to really crank on the bolts. there is no lower brace  but am thinking of making one to a rubber mount to the bumper.It has never come loose and does not move at all.

Thanks Bill!  I got mine in with a pile of parts I bought once.
I didn't think anything about it untill I started cleaning it up and realized
it was a Lang. I guess anything "Lang" is somewhat collectable,
at least for us locals anyway.  I've been into the VW scene for
almost 30 years and never knew about Lang and all the cast
aluminum parts they made.  Very cool and right here in our back yard.

I still don't have mine mounted on anything yet. But I'll hang on
to it till I do. Thanks again for the pic's.
