It was a great trip Gary! don't forget I burried myself up to the axles as well and was lucky to get out by myself. I'm glad when you got stuck there was help. I still can't believe you got outa that bowl so easily even with Chris standing in the front of the car! That car of yours really burns up the sand! you have to be happy with it. No more unknown quad trails for me! Loved the dunes and was surprised at how well my car worked with just a few changes. Must have been a spectacular sunset on the beach Friday. I was so sad to leave and have to watch it from the hwy. I made good time comin home till Tacoma and ran into construction and only one lane open. After a half an hour and only moving 100 yrds I decided to go up an on ramp to escape the jam. just at the top of the ramp I was stopped by a state trooper. He identified himself and then asked me if I knew I could get into alot of trouble for doing that! I said of course i did not realise that. He asked for my license and said he'd be right back. when he came back he said "well I gonna give you a warning tonight" whew!!!! but then he said he'd have to get me turned around and back onto the freeway:0 So I asked very politely if I could just continue on over the over pass and be off......... he said "ok but I'll have to stop traffic" Whew! again! so off i went. I went east a little then north a little and in 15 mins was back on I-5 ahead of the mess and on my way again! I was definately blessed that night. I was home and in bed by 1:45 am. Till the spring then!
