I'm not talking about the venturi or the shaft, I'm talking where the butterfly meets the body. Would be simular to having a twisted throttle shaft.

as you can see in the pictures, there are a pair of IDA carbs.  

Nothing has been altered because of the repair made.  both of them are in spec with each other and another IDA that we compared it too.  

Make me an offer people!

One of us has seen the carb first hand, the other has not.

getting back to my original question though. Is it hard to tune IDFs,DRLAs,IDAs?? I have a set of 36 drlas and have always been scared to use them because I have always heard they are a pig to synch. Is there any good info I should know??

I'm an non-fiction kinda guy, the best book I've read recently was Michael J Fox's "Lucky Man", Parts in there make ya laugh, then the next page you  have tears in your eyes.
