hey bruce you really think your comment is nessesary im not begging as you think im just trying to sell a beetle how about making possitive remarks not nasty ones
....What I don't want to do is pay for a ferry and arrive discovering the car has more rust then I've been told about. I think you'll find that to be quite fair. I do intend to split the body and pan on the car that I buy, as well as rebuild all of the suspension, etc. I just simply want to know how much body and pan rust I'm getting into before I start!For starters, how are the "typical" beetle areas?- Floor Pans- Heater Channels- Corners in front of the rear fenders- Behind the rear quarter windows- under the windshield, under the rear windowHow about the "super beetle" areas?- Front shock mounting areas (inside and outside)- Inner Fenders- Super-Beetle Frame HeadAny other rust areas I should be aware of? I literally want to know about everything...from bits of surface rust right through to the cancer.
