How To Best Remove Door Panels?
« on: August 07, 2007, 07:23:23 PM »
I'm going to remove my door panels for some cleanup (re-glueing etc) and wonder if anyone knows the best way to remove them without damaging the panels?
thanks as always!

I usually grab with both hands and put my feet on the door and pull until it comes off. Hope that helps

Hey Brian, yes a door panel removal tool will work well. Just make sure you pry it gently behind the clip and not in between them as you could damage the panel. Take your time, and make sure everything else is removed like the window winder and the latch handle. Not making fun of you, just experience talking. ;)

thanks Brian, (and all)
sometimes even the minor details as a reminder help to not screw it up! Are the tools usually a snap on item or something?
