I just picked up a propex HS2000 (the blue one) and I'm planning on installing it under the jumpseat behind the drivers seat (it's a early bay westy interior) and running the heat into the stock heat tube so I will have defrost/heat coming out the front vents. Measured it all up last night and it seems like it will fit/work.
I have some questions and concerns about the propane hook up though... I don't really want to use a stock westy propane tank that sits below rocker because I think it's ugly and I'm worried a bit about ground clearance. I would like to possibly use the little green Coleman camping tanks mounted inside the jump seat or possibly hidden underneath the floor, but that doesn't seem too legal or safe....
So is anyone a gas fitter and could give me some advise? How do you have yours set up? Pics?
