Machining Work?
«

I need to get some work done on my 1.7L Type 4 motor out of my 72 bus. I am looking at getting the heads re-done, dual carbs rebuilt and possibly some machining done on my crank. Everything stock of course.
Any recommendations?
Thanks.

K-roc did all my machining. I would contact him.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't touch Type 4 heads. I'll ask next time I see him.
Any auto machine shop could handle a crank regrind or polish, although I recommend you do it yourself. Mic the crank to see if it's in spec. If so, just polish it by hand.
