Newbie 20 yrs later
« on: January 26, 2014, 12:41:57 AM »
Darren coughtry.  Was into the scene late 80s early nineties. Worked for cip for a number of years. Used to own Chris's peach/salmon vert. And many more.  Over 50 vws so far. Now starting 2 builds.  One is a 63 doublecab I pulled out of an apple orchard on silver star mountain 13 yrs ago, sold it due to illness and just bought it back for keeps. It will be done completely airbagged sliding ragtop safaris grafting in 4 deluxe microbus roof windows scraping the ground.  Also starting another one now a 66 on 55 pan bagged with what looks to be oval clip and ragtop graft but will be done right.  Still looking for some crotch cooler vents for it :)

Starting the 59 vert.  Body bracing in place. Pulling she'll off to rebuild pan. Change to IRS custom airbags front and rear then replace heater channels and rear parcel area and quarters    Then convert to right hand drive and add crotch coolers.  May add semaphores haven't decided yet. Will be doing trans raise as well.
