« on: March 26, 2006, 04:48:07 PM »
When replacing the aluminum side strips on the quarter and doors, the little clips that go through the holes, on the body or on the trim first? Any tricks to doing this?
thanks

Thanks for the info, it's odd that the clips have a center pin that pushes in, and flares the part that's inside the hole. Do they have enough give to be pushed in without damaging the trim, or do I have the wrong clips?
thanks

Bwaz, It sounds like you have 67 and up clips so my guess is you have a late car. Instal clips to body, press in pin, now instal chrome trim. It will just snap into place.
