Engine Idle
« on: November 01, 2017, 07:14:16 PM »
My wife drives a 71 VW Super with a 1915cc dual 44 webers car moves along well.
The car normally idles about 900.  when she got home from work today it was idling at about 1100 and when you would rev it up it slowing returned to 900 not sharply like normal.  Any ideas?

What distributor are you running?, have you been putting a drop or two of oil on the felt pad in the shaft under the rotor at each oil change/valve adjustment?
