Volksfest 2015

July 11th/12th 2015

Sat. July 11th:Free Pancake Breakfast by the Victoria Volkswagen club 9am-11am at Volkswagen Victoria, 3329 Douglas Street. Stop by for breakfast with your Volkswagen!

There will be a car cruise starting at Clover Point off Dallas Road, meet by 3pm, cruise will leave soon after.

Sunday July 12th: Main show at Gyro park! Registration is $15 and is from 8:30-11am. Open to all air and watercooled Volkswagens! Bring your car down to show off and check out many others!

Host hotel: Hotel Zed, 3110 Douglas St. 250-388-4345 or toll free at 1-800-997-6797. They even have a split window bus shuttle van!!!

Goldstream park is 15 mins from downtown. shady but nice. I was thinkin of having a bit of an open house at my place after the cruise if anybody is interested?

No but they like surprises! Burnout contest, engine blow, pocket bike vs. 1973 ruppster races, beer bong competition..... They are gonna love it!

sounds fun and afaik the vvwc has nothing planned for saturday night. i'd love to stop by your place for a bit and check out the 55 & 56!!

1 week until victoria volksfest...whoohoo!!!

for anyone interested in joining a convoy over together on saturday morning to get to the pancake breakfast...meet at the mcdonalds on 56th in tswassen at 6am...we'll leave mcdonalds at 615am and head for the 7am ferry!!

wow!! what an awesome weekend!!

huge thanks to the entire vvwc, the organizers, volunteers and sponsors for putting together another fantastic weekend of vw fun! big hugs and high fives to you all! also very cool to see lots of mainlanders over to enjoy the fun and support the events!

highlights! too many to recall them all but some are...good coffee & pancakes saturday morning...a little love fest between the vvwc & the cccov (chevy cavalier club of victoria), happy to see them hug it out and resolve their differences

...great route for the cruise and the finish at the lagoon was really cool...big thanks to the buchans (josh & ivy) for the amazing hospitality and late night garage shenanigans saturday evening...and thanks to the vvwc for the killer parking spot at the show on sunday!!

volksfest is always one of our favourite weekends during the summer and we love hanging out with our island friends! definately an event to attend, so mark it on your calendars for next year!!
