My 68 Westy
« on: March 17, 2013, 09:26:29 PM »
Been working on cleaning up my 68 westy. It was brought up from California 10 years ago and has sat since. Time to get it ready for some road trips!

It was stock a week ago, I built a 4" narrowed beam and 944 dropped spindles, custom lowered swaybar. Wagens west Horse shoe plates in the rear, frame notch, 091 bus trans, 72-79 rear brakes re drilled to 5x130 and a set of Porsche 15x6 wheels, 175-55-15 and 195-60-15's.

Lots more to do but getting there.

Still a long way off from driving it, all the interior is out as I'm making all new birch panels and restoring the interior, pop top canvas etc. looking forward to some summer Cali road trips!
